Dining: Eatzi’s
They Bake It, You Take It!

VIBE: Eatzi’s bustling atmosphere, with classical music in the background, makes you feel like a cultured food connoisseur as you browse around their ready-made food cases, grill and chef-crafted salads and sandwiches. Local celebs (such as Dirk Nowitzki and former Maverick Steve Nash) have also been spotted in this gourmet-to-go hotspot.

er the green beans and mashed potatoes) and your choice of the lemon-herb or Peking whole chicken. For a pasta fix, try the sun-dried tomato basil pasta.

GOOD TO KNOW:
Look for special meal deals for the holidays (even dinner for two on Valentine’s Day). They also have a small selection of fresh fruit, cheese and fresh fish ready for you to take home. If you’re looking for a deal, Eatzi’s has a red dot special starting at 9pm to close (10pm) every night – just look for the pre-packaged foods with a red dot on them.

BEST TIMES TO GO WITH KIDS: The lunch hours are particularly busy, as is dinner, although not quite as bad. Go after you pick the kids up from school if you’re vying for dinner or in the early dinner hours (around 5 or 6pm).
