Dining: Maguires Regional Cuisine
Maguire’s North Dallas location is a great place for Sunday brunch – kids or no kids. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to its patrons … and their children. Although there’s no kids’ menu listed, your server will be happy to tell you the best selections for the younger crowd. A live Jazz duo performs just loud enough to cover the occasional outbursts of young and restless diners, but not so loud that you can’t hear the person across the table. Their famous flatbread is a
must. It changes every week, but ones not to miss are the Southwestern Chicken and the Baked Potato. Both are excellent and will be devoured in five minutes flat. One of my favorite brunch items is the Southwest Breakfast Burrito (try it with their salsa — amazing!). Another entrée that’s sure to please is the Blackened Chicken Penne Pasta. It has great flavor and heat. Lunch and dinner during the week and weekend are just as excellent, but less suited for the youngest members of the family.
