VIBE: Ritzy’s Fresh American Diner is a fast-food restaurant that rises above the competition, thanks to good food, friendly staff and a sleek, Ikea-inspired décor. Their burgers are made from all-natural Angus beef, and fresh fruit cups and steamed veggies offer an alternative to fries and onion rings. The menu includes chicken sandwiches, soups and salads that far outrank most fast-food offerings in both quality and taste.
WHY IT'S TOT-FRIENDLY: For $1.99, kids can join Ritzy’s “Kids Eat Free Club” and get a free Ritzy’s T-shirt. Each time they wear their T-shirt to Ritzy’s, they get a free kids’ meal. Kids can also show off their report cards -- good grades mean free goodies. The kids’ menu has a large va
riety of choices, including macaroni and cheese if your tot wants to go meatless.
BE SURE TO TRY: This is one place you’ll want to save room for dessert. Ritzy’s boasts a homemade ice cream shop and sells hand-packed pints and quarts to go. The Pumpkin Ginger flavor is a must-have during the holiday season. The kids aren't likely to forget to remind you that kids’ meals include a free junior ice cream cone.
GOOD TO KNOW: There are two sizes of highchairs available as well as booster seats. Restrooms have clean changing tables. Ritzy’s also has a drive-thru for quick dinner or lunch on the go.
